Ball or Military Ballroom gown

is the most formal dressing for special occasions.

This type of long gown should be worn to “White Tie” or “evening Dress” invitations.
Usually is worn with a shawl or scarf, fine jewelry and gloves.

Prom Evening gown or Bridesmaid gown
Is the type of dress worn to any Formal Event.

(corresponds to men’s “Black Tie” invitation). This gowns are worn to Prom parties, Weddings ceremonies (bridesmaids or maid of honor), State events, Hollywood Oscar’s ceremony, etc.

Cocktail dress
This type of dress ( sometimes short) is worn to cocktail parties or any Semi-Formal event. The length of a cocktail dress depends on the current fashion trend, could be short (over the knees) or Tea length (just above the ankles).

If the dress reaches the floor could be considered an “Evening Gown”.
